Conservative commentators Tomi Lahren and Charly Arnolt called on Anheuser-Busch to “acknowledge their mistake” after several weeks of consumers boycotting the Bud Light beer brand over a partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Lahren said she wished Anheuser-Busch had the “grace and class” to fix its “mistake” out of consideration for the employees whose job security is at risk amid the beer brand’s slumping sales.

“The numbers don’t lie,” Lahren told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “Conservatives woke up, and we grew spines and backbones, and we stood our ground, and we let these companies know that they will no longer get away with this crap.”

When asked about the impact the boycott is having on Anheuser-Busch‘s workers and distributors, Lahren said, “They don’t deserve this.”

“These are good, hard-working people, and they don’t deserve this. I feel badly for them as well. I wish their company felt badly for them,” Lahren said. “I wish their company had the grace and class to come out and fix their mistake so their employees could keep their jobs, retain their employment, and do the job that they love to do, but unfortunately, this company is refusing to do that. Bud Light, Anheuser-Busch, InBev — the company that bought them — they could right their wrongs here if they would acknowledge their mistake.”

“While I feel badly,” she continued, “not badly enough for conservatives to cede our ground. We can’t do it anymore.”

Hannity asked Arnolt how Anheuser-Busch could right the situation.

“I think they just come right out and say, ‘We made a mistake. We care about our consumer base. We understand what you want. We’re not going to force-feed you sick politics anymore,’” Arnolt replied. “Easy enough, right?”

Bud Light was dethroned as the top-selling U.S. beer after retail sales dropped 24.6% in May when compared to data analysis from last year. Modelo Especial now sits atop the U.S. beer market.
